John and Alan have picked a selection of their essentials from the book to make your life easier in the kitchen. This class you are assured to go away laden with goodies –chicken stock, pesto, flavoured butters, pastry, Thai red curry paste– all ready to pop in your freezer and whip out when cooking at home.

For lunch you will cook and eat potato and herb pancake with smoked haddock, a poached egg and a speedy hollandaise. We will prepare a delicious walnut and apricot tart the cook school take on the Ecclefechan tart for dessert giving you time to focus on preparing all your goodies to take home.
